PJ FRIEDRICH
Cultural producer and arts strategist based in Paris. Passionate about managing exhibitions, public programs, and cultural initiatives that empower artists and foster meaningful dialogue between institutions, audiences, and ideas.
Projects
At Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, I coordinated large-scale exhibition projects involving over 600 works, managed cross-departmental teams and international partnerships, oversaw production budgets, and supervised external contributors to deliver high-quality cultural projects in Europe and the United States.
At MUSEVA for Beaux Arts & Cie, I directed the production and overall organization of the trade show in Carrousel du Louvre, Palais Brongniart and Palais Chaillot, leading its strategic repositioning with a new format, identity, and website. I managed partnerships with over 100 cultural institutions worldwide, curated a 40+ conference program with high-level speakers, oversaw communications, and tracked budgets to ensure the event’s international visibility and impact.
At SITEM for Beaux Arts & Cie, I managed programming and international development, coordinating partnerships with leading museums and cultural institutions worldwide. I curated a 30+ conference program focused on innovation in museums and cultural industries.
At Fondation Le Corbusier, I focused on audience development, evaluating visitor profiles and engagement at Maison La Roche and the Appartement-Atelier de Le Corbusier and drafting a protocol for future mediation programs and public outreach.

CULTURAL ADVISORY
I work at the intersection of art, institutions, and communication, supporting artists and cultural projects in shaping how their work is presented and positioned. From portfolio and application reviews to curating public programs and international partnerships, I help ensure that artistic and cultural initiatives reach their full professional and public potential, fostering clarity, visibility, and impact.
For INSTITUTIONS
-
I support cultural projects in building and managing international partnerships, connecting with museums, institutions, and cultural organizations worldwide. Through collaboration, programming, and strategic coordination, I help projects gain visibility, reach new audiences, and foster meaningful cross-border exchanges.
-
I curate conferences and public programs with a focus on clarity, coherence, and relevance. This includes shaping themes, structuring conversations, and selecting speakers so that programs feel intellectually grounded and meaningful rather than fragmented.
Drawing on experience developing and curating international conference programs with leading museums, cultural institutions, and public stakeholders, I work at an early stage to ensure that content, context, and format are aligned with the project’s objectives and audience.
-
Project and Partnerships Manager with over six years of experience delivering international cultural and creative projects in French, German, and English. I specialize in aligning artistic vision with strategic goals, managing complex exhibitions, events, and partnerships, and coordinating cross-functional teams. Experienced in overseeing large-scale budgets, I build and maintain relationships with world-renowned cultural institutions and luxury groups to ensure projects are delivered with impact and excellence.
For ARTISTS
-
Strong work doesn’t always speak for itself. Sometimes, what’s missing is clear framing - how the work is presented, contextualized, and communicated.
I work with artists on how their practice is communicated and positioned within professional contexts. This includes clarifying language, structure, and emphasis across websites, portfolios, and applications - so the work is read as it’s intended, without unnecessary noise or over-explanation.
-
I offer individual online advisory sessions for artists seeking to strengthen how their work is positioned within institutional, curatorial, and professional contexts. Together, we look at how your practice is currently framed, what may be holding it back, and how to align your materials with where you want to go next.
In these 1-to-1 sessions, we take time to unpack your work, refine how it is presented, and reconnect it to your intentions.
This is a focused, supportive conversation - part reflection, part strategy - designed to help you move forward with greater confidence and coherence.
Sessions may focus on portfolio review, application texts, artist statements, or overall communication strategy, always in relation to your current objectives and upcoming opportunities.
Each session is tailored to your needs and may address one specific issue or a broader review of your practice, helping you leave with clearer language and concrete next steps.
